Customer Review: File problems with Xerox phaser 6180
I purchased this printer 3 days ago. I feel I’m pretty computer savy but the set up was not simple. Maybe its because I am mac based, I dont know, but after many hours of set up on my own I called the Xerox help people who were very quick on arriving on site. Sadly the gentleman who arrived had never seen this model nor a mac computer before. So after a couple of more frustrating hours of deleting software , downloading more current software, phone calls to other xerox experts etc. My waste paper basket was full of error messages and half printed files. I have now spoken to tech in Germany who tell me that it might be as I am connecting via USB rather than through a network. This remains to be seen.
